Probing Inside THz Parallel-Plate Waveguides with Resonant Cavities

Abstract

We experimentally observe in situ the resonance due to an integrated resonant cavity inside a parallel-plate waveguide excited by the TE1 mode. We also observe a field enhancement associated with this narrowband resonance.
