Gain Controlled Optofluidic Lasers with Self-assembled DNA Tetrahedron

Abstract

Using self-assembled DNA tetrahedron, we were able to precisely control the gain in optofluidic FRET lasers. 3.8 times reduction in the lasing threshold and 28-fold enhancement in the lasing efficiency were demonstrated.
