Hybrid-Integrated and Polarization Insensitive 25-Gbaud/s D(Q)PSK Receiver Based on Polymer PLC

Abstract

We demonstrate a DPSK receiver with a 2×25 GHz photodiode array hybrid-integrated on polymer PLC via 45° mirrors. With a half-wave plate and micro-heaters, the polarization-dependent frequency-shift of the delay-line interferometer can be eliminated.
