Deterministic double DKS generation in an 88 GHz single-mode Si3N4 microring with controlled spacing

Abstract

Here we report double soliton spectrum generation in an 88 GHz tapered Si3N4 microring deterministically with dual-pump. The mode-locking nature is verified by both amplitude noise and FROG measurement. The deterministic azimuthal angle of the double solitons is directly related to the spacing between pump mode and avoided mode crossing.
