Abstract
We report a record-high detected entangled-photon pair coincidence rate from an AlGaAs-on-insulator microring resonator with raw coincidence rates >19 kHz that is capable of time-bin entanglement-based QKD with an estimated secure key rate of 1.4 kbits/second.
