Destructive Controlled Phase Gate using Linear Optics

Abstract

Two nonlinear sign gates can be combined to implement a controlled-phase gate using only linear optics. We propose a destructive controlled-phase gate for single-rail target qubits requiring the use of a single nonlinear sign gate.
