Lithium niobate metasurfaces for second-harmonic generation

Abstract

We demonstrate monolithic lithium niobate metasurfaces for enhanced second- harmonic generation in the visible spectrum. Our approach offers a conversion efficiency above 5*10-5 with applications in novel nonlinear and quantum light sources.
