Terahertz Magnon Spectroscopy Mapping of the Low-Temperature Phases of ErxY1-xFeO3

Abstract

We excited terahertz magnons in Er*Yi_*FeO3 as a function of temperature, magnetic field, and yttrium composition (x), providing insight into the role of cooperative Er3+-Fe3+ exchange interactions in the low-temperature phase transition.
