Frequency Conversion of Narrowband Single Photons from a SPDC Pair Source

Abstract

We report on frequency down conversion of single photons from a photon pair source resonant with an atomic transition of Calcium ions. The temporal correlation between the photon pair is preserved in the conversion process.
