Light transport beyond diffusion in correlated scattering media

Abstract

We demonstrate that direct measurements of photon pathlengths reveal extended ranges of sub-diffusive transport in 3D random media. This anomalous transport is associated to the hyperuniform structure generated by the Coulomb interaction between core-shell particles.
