Energy-time entangled and Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steerable large-alphabet quantum key distribution

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated the violation of energy-time entanglement and Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen steering inequality, toward high-dimensional quantum key distribution with secure photon information efficiency of 3.68 bits/coincidences, and secure key rate of 1.77 Mbits/s.
