Abstract
Phase-shifting digital holography (PSDH) is a promising technique for measuring the three-dimensional shapes, atmospheric fluctuations, and refractive index of living cells [3]. To realise robust and single-shot PSDH, we propose a novel phase-shifting method that enables us to obtain phase-shifted interferograms simultaneously without precise alignment between the image sensor and the phase-shift element [4]. The proposed method uses a chequerboard diffraction grating and generates four phase-shifted wavefront copies of object light. In this study, a chequerboard diffraction grating was fabricated, and a complex amplitude measurement using that grating was demonstrated.
