Kerr-lens modelocked Cr:ZnS oscillator for spectroscopy and microscopy applications

Abstract

We report a broadband Kerr-lens modelocked CrZnS oscillator emitting 39fs pulses with a peak power of 360 kW. It represents a promising source for unique spectroscopic applications in the molecular fingerprint region.
