Abstract

We evaluated thermal expansion coefficients for laser host crystals by first principles calculation, of which for Y3Al5O12, Lu3Al5O12, Y2O3, Sc2O3, and Lu2O3 were estimated to 7.26, 7.52, 7.95,7.18, and 6.9510-6 K-1 at 300 K, respectively.
