Abstract
Thomson scattering between an electron beam and laser light has attracted interests as a method of ultrashort X-ray generation following the progress of femtosecond lasers. An 1TW femtosecond Ti:sapphire laser system was developed as a light source for laser-Thomson scattering X-ray source. In this meeting, we present experimental results on the laser system and the femtosecond X-ray generation.
