Abstract
Stimulated Raman scattering in solid-state crystals is a powerful technique that enables to shift the radiation frequency and efficiently generate one or more new lines, which are separated by a Raman frequency Δv. Raman gain is one of the important parameters that determine the usability of Raman-active crystals in laser systems [1].
