Passive Q-Switching and Frequency Stabilization of CW YAG:Nd Laser by Molecular Cesium Vapour

Abstract

For passive Q-switching of cw YAG:Nd lasers the dye solutions and LiF:F2- crystals are used usually. At cw operation, espacially at high average output power the thermal properties of passive cell is to be taken account. Here we report of molecular cesium Cs2 vapour usage for Q-switching and frequency stabilization of the cw YAG:Nd laser.
