Highly Efficient UV-Generation from a 1 kHz Diode-Pumped Solid-State Laser System

Abstract

By frequency-quadrupling the output of a nanosecond Q-switched diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser average powers of 2.2 W have been generated at 266 nm. The conversion efficiency 1064 nm to 266 nm is 22 %.
