Miniature solid-state laser for space applications

Abstract

A miniature solid-state laser was developed using radiation-hardened components for space-based applications. The volume is 60 c.c., and the weight is 160 g. It can produce 6, 3 and 1 mJ at 1064, 532 and 266 nm respectively at 1-50 Hz.
