Multipoint FBG sensing using incoherent OFDR and two-photon absorption process in Si-APD

Abstract

We propose multipoint sensing using fiber Bragg gratings having almost the same Bragg wavelength and incoherent optical frequency domain reflectometry along with two-photon absorption process in Si-APD. The principle is confirmed by using multicore FBG.
