Abstract
We study Strontium Niobate (SNO) as an alternate material for plasmonics in the near infrared wavelength range. We demonstrate, experimentally and through numerical simulations, hybrid plasmonic-photonic resonances in a SiO2-Si nanodisk stack on SNO near technologically important telecommunication wavelengths window.
