We present laser-induced condensation as a method for detecting of ultra-low concentrations of volatile organic compounds featuring a detection threshold well below 1 ppb. The method was tested in lab scale experiments and compared with quantitative photo-ionization detection measurements. The method was shown to be sensitive to the laser excitation wavelength between 1.6 – 2.0 µm range.
