Engineering the Response of Terahertz Metasurfaces by Spatial Arrangement of Split-Ring Resonators

Abstract

We demonstrate the effect of spatial arrangement of split-ring resonators (SRR) in a macrocell with two SRRs. The diagonal scheme presents the optimal coupling and constructively interfering scattered fields, in turn enhancing the quality factor.
