Low loss Kagome hollow-core photonic crystal fiber for high power fast laser beam transportation and pulse compression

Abstract

A Kagome hollow-core PCF with a record loss of 40dB/km is used to deliver 74μJ and 850fs laser pulse with little propagation pulse-distortion, and to compress a 105μJ laser pulse from 900fs to 300fs.
