Abstract

A 4.9 W single-polarization single-frequency 1064 nm Brillouin fiber laser that constructed with 20/400 polarization-maintaining germanium-doped fiber is demonstrated, which is, to the best of our knowledge, the highest power that outputs from a single-frequency fiber laser.
