A Noise-folding Suppression Method in Photonic Compressed Sampling

Abstract

We utilize a preprocessing method of Whitening Filter in photonic compressed sampling, which can resist the noise-folding problem. The numerical analysis shows that this method can get 20% higher successful recovery ratio of spectral support set compared with traditional method when signal to noise ratio(SNR) is lower than -3dB.
