Abstract

Recently we have developed a precise quantitative phase-contrast microscope by in-line phase-shifting digital holography [1]. The phase resolution of the system is 1.30° with blank image and which is better than those obtained with off-axis systems. The three-dimensional shape of a living fibroblast cell is measured with this system.
