All-Optical NOT Gate Using Periodical Poled Lithium Niobate Waveguides

Abstract

Using multi-stage periodic poled lithium niobate waveguides, an all-optical NOT gate with the output extinction ratio of 17 dB is proposed in this paper. Without changing the wavelength, the wavelength of the output inverted data stream is the same as that of the input data stream.
