Abstract

A high peak-power, high repetition rate MOPA system incorporating a Yb-doped fiber amplifier and its SHG were investigated in detail. The oscillator is actively Q-switch microchip laser at repetition rate of 50 kHz. The MOPA produces as much as 108kW of peak power. The SHG conversion efficiency was 51%.
