Abstract

We investigate the transmission of evanescent electromagnetic waves through Fibonacci dielectric multilayers. We find that there are sharp transmission peaks at some angles above the critical angle. When the transmittance takes a peak value, we find that the electromagnetic field intensity is greatly enhanced in some places inside Fibonacci multilayers.
