Abstract

A new technique for phase retrieval from non-monotonous fringes is presented. Continuous wavelet transform is employed to extract unwrapped phase. The ambiguity phase is identified by directly tracking an inflexion points on the unwrapped phase curve. Both simulations and experiments are conducted to validate the feasibility of the proposed method.
