Abstract

In this study, we quantified the depolarization, as a function of depth, induced by scattering in tissue-simulating optical phantoms using polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS-OCT). The preliminary results indicate that the PS-OCT may be suitable for diagnosis of diseases that causes the scattering changes.
