Abstract

We describe the design and testing of a simple rotary optical delay line for the detection of pulsed terahertz signal. Two types of rotary delay line were fabricated and were tested for the detection of terahertz pulses. The linearity of the rotary delay line was confirmed up to 200 ps by comparison with a linear stage delay line.
