Abstract

CsGeCl3 crystal is a new infrared nonlinear crystal. It can be grown from solution. It has higher nonlinear coefficient(about 5 times as that of KDP) and high damage threshold(>200MW/cm2) as well as wide transparency range from 0.38 to 20 µ m.
