Abstract

To obtain over 100 Gbit/inch2 density for the MO disk, both technologies of three dimensional multi-layer recording and Magnetic AMplifying Magneto-Optical System (MAMMOS) combined with a violet laser and high numerical aperture (NA) lens will be presented.
