Abstract

We successfully fabricated a 100-GHz spacing 8-channel multiwavelength photoreceiver module employing hybrid integration technology based on silica planar lightwave circuits (PLCs). The photoreceiver module operated at 2.5 Gbit/s with a good receiver sensitivity of over −17.5 dBm.
