Optical Frequency Sweeper Using a Tunable Injection-locking Filter with Transient Response Compensation

Abstract

More than 4000 optical frequencies can be generated by an optical frequency sweeper with high signal-to-noise ratio. A new control scheme of optical bandpass filter, tunable injection-locking filter, enables the sweeper to expand the sweep-frequency range.
