Optimization of evaporative cooling in trapped bosonic atoms

Abstract

We report on the theoretical optimization of evaporative cooling. It is found that the producible number of Bose-Einstein condensates can be significantly increased by accelerating evaporation around the transition point against the loss due to inelastic collisions.
