Study of the light-induced drift of lithium vapor

Abstract

Dependence of light-induced drift (LID) on the laser wavelength and the buffer gas pressure has been studied for lithium vapor. We estimated drift velocities from the experimental results and found fair agreement with the theoretical prediction.
