Investigation of bulk laser damage threshold and UV absorption on crystallinity in CLBO ciystal

Abstract

We present the influence of crystallinity on bulk laser damage threshold and absorption of UV light in CLBO. Laser damage resistance of 2.5-fold higher and U V absorption of 30% lower are obtained from crystals with low dislocation density.
