Noise-insensitive self-referencing interferometer for carrier-envelope offset frequency stabilization of a Ti:sapphire laser

Abstract

A novel design of f:2f self-referencing interferometer employing Wollaston prisms for group-delay dispersion compensation exhibits up to 15 dB reduction in phase noise in specific frequency bands compared to a Michelson interferometer arrangement.
