High average power diode-pumped slab laser with 10J, 10Hz for power photonics applications

Abstract

A novel architecture of high average power diode-pumped zig-zag slab laser has been developed. The system generated 8.7 J at 1 Hz output with 291-kW pump diodes and achieved 2.5 J at 10 Hz operation.
