Phase shift of a femtosecond pulse surfing on a Terahertz wave

Abstract

We analysed, for the first time, the temporal evolution of the nonlinear phase shift of a femtosecond pulse due to cascaded optical rectification (i.e.. Terahertz (THz) generation) and electrooptic effect.
