Abstract

Coupled with femtosecond laser pulses in a pump-probe scheme, the technique of spectral (frequency domain) interferometry has a temporal resolution in the order of the laser pulse width. But, with this method, a complete time history of the phenomenon studied can only be obtained with multiple shots.1–3
