Abstract

Efficient laser performance has been obtained in Nd doped Sr5(PO4)3F, Ba5(PO4)3F, and Sr5(VO4)3F crystals1–3 characterized by great products of the 4F3/2-4I11/2 emission cross sectionand life-time.
