Abstract

We are developing a new sideband method to measure optical difference frequencies in the millimeter-wave (mm-wave) domain. Very high frequency (≃100-GHz) sidebands are generated electrooptically to allow for beat frequencies within a convenient range (≤ 1 GHz) of standard detectors.
