Abstract

The system to be reported is based on polarization encoding which linearly transforms a 2-D phase factor into a 2-D factor of the polarization direction1 and a correlation transform which transforms the factor of scale size or orientation into the phase factor.2 One quarterwave plate is set with its fast axis intersecting at −45° with the x axis and can perform a linear polarization encoding, i.e.
