Applying a New Dynamic Model to Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Measurements of Cerebral Changes During Cardiac Arrest and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Abstract

We apply a novel dynamic model relating cerebral blood flow and metabolic rate of oxygen with the changes in tissue oxy- and deoxy- hemoglobin concentrations measured on the pig brain during the cardiac arrest.
