Estimation of Intracranial Pressure Using Cardiac Pulse Waveform Features with Near Infrared Spectroscopy

Abstract

Non-invasive intracranial pressure (ICP) sensing was developed using cardiac waveform features in oxyhemoglobin concentrations measured with near-infrared spectroscopy. A random forest regressor achieved a cross-validated ICP estimation r2 of 0.945.
