In vivo quantification of cell-surface receptors in solid cancers: two imaging agents are better than one

Abstract

Variability in physiology amongst tumors can significantly influence nonspecific delivery and retention of cancer targeted imaging agents. Here, the administration of a second, untargeted agent is explored to account for nonspecific effects, allowing quantitative analyses.
